The entire month of December

Better late than never, right?

We did lot's of fun stuff in November, but not really much to blog about. We went up to Utah for Thanksgiving, but sadly no pictures were taken. In fact, I was just looking and I only took five pictures in November.

We started off December right away with our ward Christmas party. They asked us as a primary presidency to be in charge of the cookie decorating. That was madness and fun all rolled into one.

Ella and Kate were the only ones who wanted to sit on Santa's lap. He was such a sweet Santa. Kate wrote a letter telling him all the things she wanted. He took the time to open it up and talk about it with her and then he told her that he would take it home and make sure the elfs got it.

Sinterklass came the night of the 5th. We woke up to goodies in our wooeden shoes on the 6th and also celebrated Tyler's 32nd birthday. 

I don't think I ever got a non-goofy picture of him when we sing to him.

Kate turned 5 on the 10th. Tyler surprised her and took the day off of work so she could have a special day out with mom and dad. We went out to a lunch of her choice. No surprise that it was Panda Express. Then we took her shopping so she could spend her birthday money.

She bought this Barbie and the Princess Popstar dress and guitar with her money. She knows how to rock in style.

We stayed home for Christmas this year. It got to hard to pack all of our Christmas up with us then bring double the stuff back home with us. There was barely room for us in the car, even with a roof top bag. Tyler's mom came down to Vegas to celebrate with us. It was so fun to be in our own home and have the kids run down the stairs to see what Santa brought. It also meant that we didn't have to go anywhere, so the kids got to spend all day playing with their toys and lounging. In the afternoon our friends Cory and Karissa came over and had a Christmas lunch complete with the fixin's. It was a good day.

My mom and dad got them new bikes for Christmas.

Thursday after Christmas we headed up north to Salt Lake City to spend our time with family and be there for the new year.

This is my family. We are only missing my brother-in-law who was home in bed keeping his sickness away from us. We missed him though.

 Isn't it a great looking group. We'll be adding to it in September when my sister has her baby! Couldn't be more excited for her. They have been trying for so long.

 Kate was holding hands with her cousin Eloise. It was so cute because Eloise is really shy around my kids because we don't see her often enough being so far away.

 The last few times we have gotten together Kate and Sophie have had so much fun playing together.
