Paint, paint, paint

For Christmas we got money to do some serious painting in our house. The entire house had been painted in flat paint. Do you know how hard it is to clean walls with flat paint? Near impossible. When we moved in the walls didn't look the greatest and cleaning them did nothing. It would just tear up our rags, because they are textured walls to (yuck), and not come clean. Now they have a fresh coat of cleanable paint. I love it. Now the house is really starting to feel like ours. I have to give all the credit to Tyler. He went to town and didn't stop until it was done. We still need to do the kitchen, living room, guest room, and our room. Here is what we have done so far.

This room started out as our dining room. I didn't love it. So we moved our table to the kitchen, best move ever, and turned it into our office. (after)

Those white frames on the floor will make it to the wall when we decide on the pictures that will go in them. The color on the wall is a very warm and cozy brown. Love it!

The entire house was a very boring light tan color. We painted it in Swiss Coffee. It looks so fresh.
