Let's party!

Roman had a good birthday. He got a lot of new clothes that he was in major need of. Now that we are warming up he had nothing to wear that wouldn't make him too hot.

He got lots of fun toys.

We didn't bother wrapping his presents because he really didn't show interest in ripping open the paper, but he does love taking things out of stuff so we just put it all in boxes.

He got his first Star Wars toys.

Notice what he reached for first. He loves balls. He especially loves throwing balls but we never had any that would bounce.

He kind of freaked out when we all started singing. It was so sad but so funny. I didn't think he would react like that. Doesn't that sad pouty face break your heart?

He dove right into his cake.

Then he kind of backed off. He didn't love having the sticky frosting stuck to his fingers and kept flinging his hands to get it off.

Once the frosting was gone the cake went quick.

We had our Vegas family over for the party.

We're so glad we could have some "family" over to party with us that loves Roman.

He went in for his one year appointment and got a check for good health. He was in the 5% for his weight and the doctor told me to give him healthy fatty foods because he was so skinny. I don't worry about it because his sisters were just like that. He acutally weighs more than they did at one year and he only weighs 19.5 lbs. Haha...my skinny little babies. He had to go in and do some blood work to be tested for peanut allergies because we think he is allergic to them. We will find out in a week.

We all love Roman so much and he keeps us on our toes. The dog dish is not safe from him and at least once a day he dumps the entire contents out. He climbs on anything and everything. Even if it is not meant to be climbed on. He is one crazy little boy and it is just the beginning of his boyhood. But oh man is he cute. Good thing!
