Sand Hollow

This last weekend, Easter weekend, we made our way out to Hurricane, UT and had a nice little camping trip in Sand Hollow State Park. My parents and siblings were all there along with some of our extended family and Tyler's dad. We all had so much fun. We stayed in the Sand Pit campground and it sure lived up to its name. We brought a lot home with us and I found it in our dryer.

 It was really windy the first day and a half but we brought along our kites and so we had a lot of fun flying those.

I'm surprised my little Kate didn't get swept up into the air. These were not your typical plastic kites from Walmart. These were real kites made out of the good strong stuff.

Roman had a great time too. He spent all his time on this trip playing in the dirt, and loved every minute of it.

Roman loved having all the space to wander and check things out. He loves picking up rocks and then throwing them back down. There were plenty to choose from.

He is always such a happy boy.

The girls had fun doing fun craft stuff too. I couldn't find Kate one time and after searching around, found her sitting and painting in the trailer all by herself and loving it.

The sand there was nice and soft. My kids spent plenty of time digging in it.

My cousins played with my kids and were so nice to them. They spent a good hour digging big holes and making castles.

 Roman thought it was fun to pick up the dirt and throw it on him.

Uncle Zach and Aunt Aly gave Roman a Tonka truck for his birthday. It was perfect for this place.
